Thank God for Second Chances

The actual title of this should be THANK GOD FOE PEOPLE WHO GIVE US SECOND CHANCES. This weekend i spent time with some true friends. The people are friends who i have known forever. These are people who have stood by my side thru good and bad times. i wasn't always the best friend either, there were times when i was pretty selfish and put my own issues before others. i have made some stupid, self centered mistakes. i am lucky my friends see past these lapses in decency and accept me warts and all. Most of my self centered mistakes are because of my insecurities. Instead of facing people or problems head on and addressing issues, i have sometimes gone out the side door. i don't like confrontations and i don't trust my instincts. i'm like a cat with nine lives, people give me second chances; i land on my feet no worse for the wear. i take something very important from this latest fiasco, i have got to follow my heart and trust my intuitions. Thank God for people who give us second chances; they know who they are.
